DUMB Binaries for Download

DUMB binaries for GNU/Linux are now distributed in RPM format, as used by the popular RedHat Linux distribution. The rpms come with patch-wads suitable to use with Doom and Heretic, but you will need to obtain a Doom, Doom II, or Heretic wadfile seperately, for example from ID Software's FTP site, or one of its mirrors.

And now, here are the RPMs you can download:

• dumb-0.13.2-1.i386.rpm: for Intel processors using glibc-2 / libc-6
• dumb-0.13.2-2.i386.rpm: as above, but built with egcs -mcpu=pentium
• dumb-0.13.2-1.ppc.rpm: for PowerPCs/PowerMacs running mklinux or linux-ppc
• dumb-0.13.2-1.sparc.rpm: for Sparcs running UltraPenguin or S/Linux with glibc
• dumb-0.13.2-1.src.rpm: a source RPM for everyone else
